We started Rent a Cradle after one too many trips where the gear made the vacation harder than it needed to be. We're not a marketplace, we're a family, and we run it that way.

Who we are

A small family business with a simple mission.

After years of struggling to travel with our kids and dealing with endless hassle, we decided to help other parents avoid the burden of carrying heavy gear or paying way too much for dirty, low-quality rentals.

Now, you can visit family or enjoy your favorite Airbnb with peace of mind, knowing you won't have to buy or rent unsafe, uncomfortable baby equipment ever again.

We started in Sugar Land, Texas, and now serve families across the greater Houston area with most of our customers being parents on vacation, grandparents preparing for visits, and families in transition. Every rental is treated with the same care we'd give our own.

Cleanliness

Every piece is sanitized, washed, and inspected between rentals. If it doesn't look new, it doesn't leave our place.
Safety

Only current-model gear from brands parents trust. We check recall lists weekly and retire anything that's been pulled.
Reliability

We deliver when we say we will. If something changes, we'll be the ones to call you usually before you have to ask.
